PCI Utilities - Utilities dealing with the PCI bus

The PCI Utilities package contains various utilities dealing with the PCI bus. It includes `lspci' for listing all PCI devices (very useful for debugging of both kernel and device drivers) and `setpci' for manual configuration of PCI devices.

The library (and therefore all the utilities) can access PCI registers either via the /proc/bus/pci interface present since Linux kernel 2.1.82 or via direct hardware access (for use with older kernels and for hardware diagnostics). It can also read and interpret register dumps printed by `lspci -x'.
