System requirements:

	* Intel Pentium based (or higher) PC/server with
	  Windows 95/Windows 98/Windows NT 4.0
	  (Windows NT for Alpha is not supported)
	* 32MB system memory
	* 10MB drive space
	* CD-ROM drive
	* Infortrend RAID controller


Files in this directory:

	IG161P1.EXE - GUI RAID Manager disk 1 of 3
	IG161P2.EXE - GUI RAID Manager disk 2 of 3
	IG161P3.EXE - GUI RAID Manager disk 3 of 3

		All three files are self-extracting files. Please 
	create a temporary directory in the hard drive, copy all 
	three files into this temporary directory, and execute each
	of them to extract all the files.



Installation for local RAID administration:
-------------------------------------------

	1. Open the "Explorer" of the Windows, change the directory
	   to the temporary directory which contains all the files
	   extracted from the three distribution files.

	2. Double click on the "SETUP.EXE" in the temporary 
	   directory.

	3. Follow the on-screen instruction to complete the
	   installation. When a dialog box appears for SNMP 
	   service, press "OK" to continue the installation.

	4. After the installation completed, it's now ready to 
	   run. Please refer to the Instruction Manual of your
	   Infortrend RAID controller for more information.



Installation with Infortrend SNMP sub-agent for receiving remote
administration: (SNMP agent site)
----------------------------------------------------------------

	1. Only available for Windows NT (WorkStation or Server),
	   Windows 95/98 does not support SNMP agent service.

	2. The "TCP/IP" protocol and "SNMP Service" of Windows NT
	   should be installed.

	3. The Windows NT Service Pack 3 (or Service Pack 4) should 
	   be installed again after the SNMP service installed.

	4. Open the "Explorer" of the Windows, change the directory
	   to the temporary directory which contains all the files
	   extracted from the three distribution files.

	5. Double click on the "SETUP.EXE" in the temporary 
	   directory.

	6. Follow the on-screen instruction to complete the
	   installation. When a dialog box appears for SNMP 
	   service, check both "SNMP agent" and "SNMP manager" boxes
	   and press "OK" to continue the installation.

	7. After the installation completed, your system is now
	   ready to receive remote SNMP administration from another
	   Infortrend GUI RAID Manager on a remote Windows NT system.



Installation with Infortrend SNMP manager for administrating a remote
Infortrend RAID controller: (SNMP manager site)
---------------------------------------------------------------------

	1. Only available for Windows NT (WorkStation or Server),
	   Windows 95/98 does not support SNMP agent service.

	2. The "TCP/IP" protocol and "SNMP Service" of Windows NT
	   should be installed.

	3. The Windows NT Service Pack 3 (or Service Pack 4) should 
	   be installed again after the SNMP service installed.

	   service, check "SNMP manager" box and press "OK" to 
	   continue the installation.

	7. After the installation completed, your system is now
	   ready to remote administrate the Infortrend RAID controller
	   on a remote site.
