This is a release notification for firmware version 2.23Y using 

with Infortrend RAID controller series. 



This firmware can be apply to the following Infortrend RAID 

controllers:

          IFT-3101U

          IFT-3102U Series

          IFT-3101UG Series

          IFT-3102UG Series

          IFT-3102U2 Series

          IFT-3101U2G Series

          IFT-3102U2G Series



This firmware can be applied to IFT-3101U, 3102UA, 3102UB, 3101UG 

series RAID controllers with certain procedure. Please refer to the

procedure below. For IFT-3102UG, 3102U2, 3101U2G and 3102U2G series

RAID controllers, please upgrade directly to the latest version.

 Important Steps to Upgrade Firmware

   Please upgrade to firmware 2.23 (file: fw30d223) first, if your controller

   firmware is an earlier firmware versions (2.11, 2.12, 2.22...etc). It is a 

   must to do so, or the firmware upgrade will be rejected.



   The firmware 2.23 can be downloaded from Infortrend ftp site.
