                        ANNOUNCEMENT

DDN announcements are distributed online by the DDN Network
Information Center under DISA contract as a means of communicating
official policy, procedures and other information of concern to
management personnel at DDN facilities.  Back issues may be read
through the TACNEWS server ("@n" command at the TAC) or may be
obtained by FTP (or Kermit) from the NIC.DDN.MIL host [192.112.36.5]
using login="anonymous" and password="guest".  The pathname
for announcements is ddn-news/ddn-announce-nn.txt (where "nn" is the
bulletin number).

SUBJECT: DISA WESTHEM Regional Control Center Relocation

REQUEST NODE SITE COORDINATORS AND HOST ADMINISTRATORS DISSEMINATE THIS 
INFORMATION TO ALL DDN USERS

1. Please be advised that the WESTHEM Regional Control Center will be 
relocating to its alternate location as a result of a facility power 
outage. The relocation will be effective 1400 EDT on 5 May 95
through 1400 EDT on 7 May 95. This action will impact the MILNET, 
DSNET1 and SIPRNet Monitoring Centers.

2. Users experiencing network problems during the relocation period may 
contact the respective monitoring centers at the following numbers:
